Welcome to the homepage of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Chengdu (CDETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

CDETO was established in 2006. Its main functions include enhancing HKSAR Government's liaison and communication with the seven provinces/municipality/autonomous region (Sichuan, Chongqing, Shaanxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet and Qinghai ) under the coverage of the CDETO; facilitating exchange and co-operation in economic and trade as well as other aspects between Hong Kong and the seven provinces/municipality/autonomous region; promoting Hong Kong to residents of the Mainland; and providing practical assistance to Hong Kong residents in distress in the seven provinces/municipality/autonomous region.

This homepage provides information on the roles and duties of the CDETO, the latest information on making investments, working and studying in Hong Kong, as well as information on living and doing business in the Mainland.

Request for Urgent Assistance

For Hong Kong residents who meet with accidents (e.g. traffic accident, fire disaster, etc.), other emergencies (e.g. robbery, assault, etc.) or casualties in the Mainland, the parties concerned or their relatives should immediately report to local public security authorities for assistance. For assistance from the police, please dial 110; for ambulance service, dial 120 (fees are generally charged for medical services, which may include ambulance fees and emergency treatment fees); for fire departments, dial 119; and for reporting of traffic accidents, dial 122.
