Mr Richard F C Luk Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs, Chengdu

Mr Richard F C Luk was appointed by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on 18 September 2006 as Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs, Chengdu. He arrived in Chengdu on 22 September 2006.

Mr Luk joined the Administrative Officer Grade in 1986. He had worked in more than 10 different executive departments and policy branches/bureaux, including the Buildings and Lands Department, Civil Service Branch, Monetary Affairs Branch, Education and Manpower Branch, Trade and Industry Branch, Planning, Environment and Lands Bureau, Economic Services Bureau, Health, Welfare and Food Bureau, Joint Secretariat for the Advisory Bodies on Civil Service and Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service, Secretariat for the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Expert Committee and Home Affairs Department.
